Position Overview:
As a Business Banker, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth within our Business Banking division. Your primary focus will be on expanding business deposits, loans, treasury management, and merchant services while cultivating new client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with high-value business clients, promoting a comprehensive suite of banking products and services.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including commercial relationship managers, branch managers, and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales volume and profitability targets through proactive sales activities and relationship building efforts.
- Establish and maintain a network of referral sources through active participation in community events, seminars, and professional groups.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all our products and services, making appropriate referrals to other departments as needed.
- Facilitate meetings between potential clients and relevant stakeholders, coordinating efforts to meet client needs effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in business banking.
- Proven track record of developing and nurturing business relationships.
- Strong networking, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with cash management products and services.
- Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to commercial lending.
Additional Details:
- Travel: Approximately 20%.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive starting salary range: $80,000 - $90,000.
