A base salary range of $80k-120k USD with On Target Earnings scheme (paid quarterly), depending on candidate experience

About The Opportunity

As the Business Development Manager, based in Denver, you will play a vital role in driving new business growth for Micromine's exploration solution, Micromine Origin. Leveraging your sales experience and mining industry knowledge, you will identify new opportunities, build strong relationships, and deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients' technical needs.

Reporting to the Sales Director, Americas, your main responsibilities will include:

Managing the end-to-end sales process, including nurturing prospects, demonstrating solutions, handling objections, and closing deals
A strong focus on proactive prospecting, lead generation and building strong client relationships.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining industry
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence
Participating in marketing events such as trade shows, conferences, and product launches
Building strategic relationships with key clients, including Geologists and Engineers
Stay informed about mining industry trends and market demands

About You

As an experienced salesperson, you will have a background in B2B sales/consulting within the mining industry.

Key skills, experience, and qualifications:

Minimally 2+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of success in the mining industry
Experience with selling software/ Saas solutions or mining technology
5+ years of experience within the mining and/or geology industry
Strong ability to identify, pursue and close net new business opportunities
Experience identifying potential clients, initiating outreach, and qualifying leads to build a robust pipeline
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building and maintaining client relationships
Ability to travel for work as required
