DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop a business development strategy for each specific mining market working in collaboration with the local mining managers. Identify and document all the applications for KSB non-slurry products in the mining industry. Map high-potential customer bases and draw up a schedule for customer site visits with local sales managers. Identify all EPCs involved in non-slurry projects and formulate a plan to cover top EPCs. Identify corporate engineering, procurement and category management departments at key customers and ensure that KSB is on their customer approved vendor lists for all non-slurry pump packages. Organize seminars, product presentations and brand promotion events at key customers. Understand the customers' strategies and identify synergies with KSB. Develop customer focused sales strategies and goals to match their corporate strategies and goals, in conjunction with the sales teams. Create and manage a non-slurry projects funnel for hard rock mining and create/manage the blue sheets for each nominated project. Responsible for growing sales with assigned customers – always involving the local sales person or sales channel. Establish and facilitate intra company relationships to leverage regional product manufacturing and service strengths. Coordinate company processes and work teams to enhance customer satisfaction and company revenue growth. Assist other team members with product training, customer development, including joint customer visits and technical advice. Identify market requirements that can be met with slight modifications to existing product lines and communicate these requirements to appropriate product management teams. Develop and maintain a planned call schedule to ensure adequate customer interface. Arrange quarterly or half a year review meetings with the customers. Assist sales teams in providing appropriate sales forecasts for assigned customers. Assist application engineering team with training and selection guidance when necessary. Provide input in setting project prices. Build and leverage relationships with KSB factories to get favorable terms and support. Submit sales call reports and use C4C effectively. Provide market feedback to Sales Management, Market Requirement Management and Product Management, as necessary. Other duties as assigned by the manager. Comply with company rules, policies, procedures and systems. AUTHORITY: To formulate Business development plans, develop sales strategies with sales teams, negotiate targeted projects.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE (minimum required): EDUCATION: min 4 years college, engineering degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 10-15 years sales management and Business Development experience, including several years of field sales experience. Good people and communication skills required. In depth knowledge of KSB non-slurry product line. Ability to travel extensively and make cold calls. Knowledge of pumps/pumping systems in mining, project management, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of commercial aspects of contracts in capital investment business also helpful. ADDITIONAL NOTES: Must be willing to travel within the US and Canada 50 to 60% of the time. Must be fluent in English. Must be creative, self-motivated, team-player.
