Business Development Representative

We are looking for enthusiastic and high-potential Business Development Representatives to join our Groupon Sales team. As a crucial member of our team, you will drive our sales efforts, build strong customer relationships, and help local businesses thrive through our platform. Your outgoing personality, skills in communication, negotiation, and exceptional customer service will be essential for your success in this role.

You'll spend time on the following:

Prospecting and Engagement

:

Identify and engage with potential local business partners to promote Groupon's offerings.
Value Presentation

:

Present Groupon's value proposition to business owners using effective sales techniques and presentations.
Negotiation

:

Negotiate deals and contracts to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
Sales Targets

:

Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, understanding their needs, and offering tailored Groupon solutions.
Consultation

:

Consult with local businesses to understand their unique needs and create customized solutions.
Team Collaboration

:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful campaign execution.
We're excited about you if you have:

Experience

:

1-2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in a B2B or telesales environment, cold calling
Proven Track Record

:

Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Communication Skills

:

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Client Relationships

:

Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Motivation

:

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player.
Outgoing Personality

:

A natural salesperson with an outgoing personality and high potential for growth.
Problem-Solving

:

Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
Local Knowledge: Knowledge of the local business landscape is a plus.
Technical Proficiency

:

Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools (Sales force) is a plus.
What We Offer:

Compensation

:

A competitive base salary plus an on-target variable commission. The variable commission is uncapped, providing the potential for additional earnings based on performance.
