Buyer - Materials Management

Responsibilities:

Under direction, assists with the handling of campus-wide transactions to procure equipment, services and supplies needed for the efficient operation of the University Hospital.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in an appropriate field, plus one (1) year buying experience, preferably in the area of public procurement.
Experience in hospital and research-related purchasing is a plus.
Computer literacy is required.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and computerized purchasing applications is preferred.
Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirement.
