Requirements: Job Summary Assists the Buyers with daily operation of the department including data entry, vendor communication, managing item data, and other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Essential Job Functions Check on POs from the previous day Send POs as required by Buyers Issue store credits/debits as required Includes adjustments and cancellation of customer orders Daily item data management Special Orders (Customer Call-In and Special Sales) Performs other related duties as assigned by management Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance Policy Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of grocery store operations. Skill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer (familiarity with Excel and Outlook is preferred), calculator, fax, and order units Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously Ability to think through and execute tasks with a critical eye Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to maintain confidentiality Education and Experience High School graduate or equivalent 1-2 Years of industry experience preferred Intermediate Excel skills Certco is an equal opportunity employer.
