CAD Technician Job Details: Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM Pay Rate: $18 to $23 per hour Direct Hire! Full Benefits Package! CAD Technician Job Description: Use Computer Aided Design (CAD) software to create production drawings from field colleague templates, vector files, and dimensional specifications. Modify and revise existing drawings to reflect design changes or improvements. Assist with project planning and scheduling by providing accurate time estimates for drafting tasks. Ensure all drawings are up-to-date and properly documented. Coordinate with other colleagues to ensure drawings meet customer/project specifications. Maintain an organized file system for production drawings. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to maintain compliance and improve design quality. Make decisions based on work instructions and design tolerances, and refer most questions to your supervisor for accuracy. CAD Technician Job Requirements: Associate's degree or certificate in CAD technology, drafting, engineering technology, or a related field. Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools. At least 1 year of relevant work experience. Strong technical drawing and drafting skills. Creative problem-solving abilities. Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment. Solid company-centric ideology, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Background check and 5-panel drug test required.
