Job Title: Customer Service Representative Job Summary:
Kelly Services is seeking a talented individual to join our esteemed client as a Customer Service Representative in the Shipping/Receiving Area. This is an exciting opportunity to work in Chesapeake, VA! Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Temp to Hire
- Location: Onsite in Chesapeake, VA
- Pay Rate: $15 to $16.50 per hour
- Shift: Day shift (Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm) Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct daily functions for a specific group of customers
- Process import/export orders using computer software programs
- Manage offsite warehouses and websites
- Schedule orders for production on a daily basis
- Create, print, and distribute work orders
- Handle direct customer contact for any issues or problems
- Generate reports and shipping documents
- Collaborate closely with supervisors, group leaders, Production Manager, Quality, and Engineering departments
- Perform other duties as assigned, including backup for front desk shipping and answering phones as necessary Qualifications & Skills: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent (required)
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- Strong planning and forecasting skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience with word processing, communications, and spreadsheet software (required)
- Knowledge of basic office equipment (required)
