Join us on the frontlines of change. Our Capital Equipment Procurement Manager will be part of the CAPEX / Initiatives team focused on holistic procurement of capital equipment. As a Capital Equipment Procurement Manager, you are responsible for managing vendor relationships, establishing and executing various category strategies, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance to ensure timely delivery for all projects. In this role you will also lead cross-functional meetings, providing status updates and to be proactive in risk identification. Interested in learning more?

What you'll do in this role:Develop and execute long-term CAPEX spend strategies.Develop high-level negotiation strategies with business leaders and legal team to execute contracts.Develop and implement supplier performance evaluation metrics to assess and improve supplier quality, delivery, and service levels.Have strong experience in creating a procurement strategy for CAPEX equipment.Facilitate communication between company stakeholders and suppliers to ensure a clear understanding of specifications, expectations, and feedback.Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier reliability and product quality, implementing contingency plans as necessary.Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers, focusing on process enhancements and cost reduction strategies.Manage the supplier's onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation and certifications are obtained and maintained.Cultivate a solid working knowledge of category trends including industry trends, cost drivers, global pricing, supply and demand material lead times, technical/manufacturing processes, and supplier market dynamics.Organize and lead cross-functional team meetings to review supplier performance, discuss challenges, and plan future procurement strategies.Any other duties and roles assigned Your environment:This position can be located out of our offices in Englewood, Colorado, Lincoln Nebraska, or Kansas City, Missouri and will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days a week in office, and two days (optional) from home office May require up to 25% travel domestically and internationally
