Capital Markets Business Analyst (W2 Only) | Washington, DC (Local Candidates Only)

We are seeking an experienced Capital Markets Business Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on liquidity management, issuances, valuations, settlement, accounting, and external ratings of securities. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, transforming business needs into system solutions that improve efficiency and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
Gathering requirements.
Developing business cases.
Preparing test plans.
Overseeing system implementations.
Providing technical leadership and post-production support for application launches.

Requirements:
8+ years of experience in Capital Markets.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of liquidity risk, WB Loan products, and derivatives.
Experience in trade capture, settlement messaging (SWIFT), and accounting.
Proficient in MS Excel and SQL.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ideal candidates may have a CFA qualification, experience with Murex/Summit trading systems, and knowledge of VBA, PL/SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
