Care Partner (CNA) - Emergency Room - Full-Time 12 Hour Nights

The Care Partner provides nursing staff support in the areas of patient care delivery, clerical functions, and organization of the unit environment, as well as set-up and maintenance of equipment. The emphasis on each of these areas will depend on the unit assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Education:
Current California Certified Nurse Assistant Certification OR Active enrollment in an accredited nursing program and completion of at least the "Fundamentals of Nursing" course with a B or better.
Minimum Experience/Knowledge:
Six months to one year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, preferably in an acute care setting. Ability to pass a 4-hour USC Verdugo Hills Hospital Electronic Health Record data entry training course. Understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations is preferred. Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner when there are competing requirements and a heavy workload.
Required License/Certification:
Maintain active California Certified Nurse Assistant certification OR maintain active enrollment in an accredited nursing program. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) card. AB 508 Certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer into the department and maintained by renewal before expiration date.

Hourly Rate:
$17.00 - $27.00.
