All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is confirmed.* BSU Consultant-Kim Griffin POSITION SUMMARY: The Case Manager/Admissions Representative oversees student entrance, experience, and exit of the AAUL TCA. The Case Manager/Admissions Representative is responsible for all initial record keeping for the AAUL TCA. This includes assessing, compiling, tracking, and maintaining student information, including enrollment documentation, weekly timesheets, grade information, class completion information, employment outcome information, and student credential attainment. This position acts as the point of contact for students enrolled in AAUL TCA courses. This position will support the AAUL TCA in meeting enrollment and educational goals in line with Texas Workforce Commission, Eligible Training Provider System, and AAUL Tech and Career Academy standards. This position requires an individual with a strong customer service orientation, flexibility, and an aptitude for working collaboratively with students, staff, and community referral sources. The Case Manager/Admissions Representative should possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills and be detail-oriented and self motivated.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Ability to become a TWC Representative for AAUL TCA within 30 days of employment.
2. Respond to AAUL TCA calls and enrollment inquiries; screen applicants in-person, via phone, or online web portal to direct them to the most appropriate program.
3. Provide accurate information about AAUL TCA programs in line with TWC requirements.
4. Organize and conduct student orientation in collaboration with Recruiter, Director, and Instructors.
5. Be able to assist potential clients in the assessment, application, and funding process.
6. Have teaching and instruction experience and be able to assist clients with basic assessment tutoring or support any small learning deficiencies.
7. Be able to manage 30 client/student files effectively with Tech and Career Academy.
8. Enter required data into databases in a timely manner, including enrollment, attendance, and outcome data as required by TWC.
9. Serve as point of contact for students enrolled in AAUL TCA classes to strive towards successful course completion and subsequent employment placement.
10.Connect students with appropriate internal job readiness and job placement services.
11.Assists at critical times with projects involving AAUL TCA as needed (graduation, awards programs, and special events).
12.Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
13.Requires extended periods of sitting and repetitive hand/wrist motion while using computer keyboard and phone. Occasional standing, walking (or "walking across campus," if applicable), climbing stairs, bending, stooping and reaching. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Establish and maintain professional and cooperative working relationships with all stakeholders: clients, staff, and partners.
2. Collaborate cross departmentally to help further mission.
3. Maintain confidentiality of information.
4. Comply with policies established by federal and state law, Corporate Compliance, and local board policy.
5. Attends meetings as scheduled and required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position will have no supervisory responsibility.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
2. Must have the ability to obtain approval from the Texas Workforce Commission as an Authorized Representative within 30 days of employment.
3. Demonstrated high degree of professionalism and customer service orientation.
4. Proficiency with MS Office Products, Internet, and information management databases.
5. Effective at multi-tasking, flexible, and adaptable to changing work priorities and schedules.
6. Ability to gather and analyze data to make informed decisions.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Detail-oriented, passion for accuracy.
9. Team player and initiates action.
10.Must pass a criminal background check.
11.Must possess understanding of marginalization and how it impacts those AAUL serves and employs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelor's Degree.
2. 1 years' experience with Client Management Systems.
3. Knowledge of TWC Career Schools and Colleges and ETPS requirements
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: $18.00 an hour/Full-time
