ARE YOU WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR? 21+ years old Bachelor's degree in social work, education, or another human services field 2+ years of professional foster care or out-of-home-care experience OR a master's degree in social work, education, or a related field DCFS licensure OR ability to obtain a license Willingness to complete the children and residential experiences (CARE) and therapeutic crisis intervention (TCI) training Valid driver's license and proof of insurance YOUR NEW ROLE AS A CASE MANAGER - CHILD ADVOCATE You work Monday - Friday with an after-hours emergency on-call rotation.
In this position, you provide comprehensive case management services to children, foster parents, and biological families, providing them with the tools and resources they need to live happier and healthier lives. You help meet each client's individual needs and support the reunification of children with their bio families. Alternatively, you also help identify adoptive parents or guardians who could provide the child with the care they need. You diligently take notes about your meetings and findings and strive to ensure the best outcome for every client!
