Job Description The Catering Captain is a sales growth-oriented role, working closely with the Beyond the Restaurant (BTR) Director to grow the catering pick-up and delivery business and special event off site sales. The Catering Captain manages the process of a catering order beginning with order taking, order fulfillment, and order completion, with a timely and hospitable pick-up or delivery experience for the guest. The Catering Captain has expert product knowledge for Chick-fil-A catering products and can assist guests with planning an event, and understanding the guest's needs.
OBJECTIVES
Prepare catering orders with precision and attention to detail Understand use our catering systems Steward the business' catering assets, ensuring cleanliness and proper storage Utilizes all tools necessary to increase catering order efficiency, accuracy, quality and encourages repeat business through energetic guest interactions and follow-u Ensure excellence in catering order execution, through good communication between all teams FOH and HOH. To be an expert on catering products and serving sizes. Utilizes all tools necessary to increase catering order efficiency, accuracy, quality and encourages repeat business through energetic guest interactions and follow-up. Pre-confirms all orders daily, or a day ahead as able, and preps in advance non-food items by at least one prior day-part. Mastery of all current tools is necessary for success in the lead role. The existing tools are pathway catering modules, Catering Management Tool (CMT), My Hot Lunchbox, Boonli, the Chick-fil-A NOW app deferred order tracker, Band, CFA Monkey Junction website for online ordering, CFA Monkey Junction Catering Gmail. Responsible for all catering deliveries, pick-ups, and product distribution. Applicant must have a valid driver's license with no driving offenses in the last two years. Must have great interpersonal skills in communicating with our guests and our staff. This person will be the liason between the kitchen and catering. This is a Monday-Saturday, flexible and full-time position. Must have flexibility and be able to pivot your schedule when needed.
