CBP LSOTA - Test and Evaluation Engineer III (C)Washington, DC, USAFull TimeHealth, Dental, Vision, 401k/matching contributions, Paid Time Off (Sick, Vacation, Holidays), Tuition Assistance/Training ReimbursementNemean Solutions, LLC is seeking a Test and Evaluation Engineer to support the Land Systems Operational Test Authority (LSOTA), which serves as the Independent Test Authority (ITA) for CBP acquisition programs.
The Test and Evaluation Engineer will work with system engineers, program managers, and technical subject matter experts to plan, execute, and develop technology demonstrations, system development testing, operational testing, operational assessments, and other activities, including data analysis and reporting of test and evaluation events.
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to: Leading or supporting the planning, execution, data collection, and reporting of technology demonstrations.Leading or supporting the planning, execution, and data collection of systems acceptance tests and other evaluation assessments.Leading or supporting the development of engineering plans and artifacts, including:Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP)Draft of the Data Management and Analysis Plan (DMAP)Test Planning, including both hardware and software programs using AgileTest Planning and management of threats to the systemsTest scenario designsSystem Engineering PlansFunctional Requirements DocumentationSoftware Requirements SpecificationsIntegrated Master SchedulesLeading and participating in Test and Evaluation working groupsParticipating in program-level review boards, including configuration, risk, test, and engineeringCoordinating and tracking project-level activities and statusMaking project-level recommendations and reportsAssisting with training, policy development, and procedures designed to streamline test and evaluation efforts.Completing DHS Training Requirements for Operational Test Directors (OTD) and T&E Staff.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree.Resume showing a minimum of six years of former military experience or a minimum of two years of experience as a Test and Evaluation Engineer.Experience with Agile Methodology.Must have and maintain a Secret Clearance for the duration of the period of performance.Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.Ability to comprehend current threat environments and apply analysis to communicate and address capability gaps.Experience in developing and executing test and evaluation strategies in support of large, complex programs.Broad spectrum of technical fields and engineering disciplines.Strong analytical problem-solving skills required.Clearance: Must be able to acquire a CBP BI.
Support Hours: The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of ******** Monday through Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government-directed facility closings.
Place of Performance: Washington, DC.
Travel: The Contractor will be authorized travel expenses consistent with the substantive provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and the limitation of funds specified in this contract.
