CDL DriverSummary:Horizon Beverage, a wholesale distributor located in Norton, MA is hiring qualified Delivery Route CDL Drivers with Class B to join our team. Deliver beer, wine and spirits on a local route supplying product to our customers.Tue-Fri DaysStart Time 6AM$25.95/hr. (OT after 8 hours)Plus, Incentive Pay!Teamsters Union 653Essential Duties:Safely drives straight/box truck (minimum Class B) to destinationCarefully unloads product from trailer using two-wheeler, pallet jack or by hand; and places in designated customer storage areaVerifies the accuracy of delivery with customers and obtains proper signaturesProvides excellent customer service to all accountsInspects truck for defects before and after trips and reports any discrepancies indicating truck condition to supervisorAble to back truck in and out of receiving docksMaintains all paperwork; invoices, credits, manifests, returns, and safety check of vehicleKeeps truck clean inside and outMaintains a professional demeanor in both attitude and dressAdheres to all company policies and proceduresAny other duties assigned by supervisorREQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent work experiencePossess a current, valid CDL license with a clean DMV recordRegister with the FMCSA ClearinghouseCertification for material handling equipmentAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to speak and write the English language at least at the high school levelThorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive drivingExcellent customer relation skillsAbility to read, write, and count accurately to complete all documentationAbility to read maps/directions and operate GPS units.Horizon Beverage Group is an Equal Opportunity (EEO) employer.
