Family-friendly optometry practice looking to add an OD to provide a mix of medical based optometry including a fair amount of glaucoma and routine eye exams. The ideal candidate is someone who would like to work full time to continue to develop the practice. On average they can see anywhere from 20-25 patients depending on the time of year. This area in Louisiana is situated the geographic center of the state in the Rapides Parish. The community has just under 50,000 residents which has risen over the past decade. There are a number of small bayous throughout the city. The climate is sub-tropical; summers are warm and winters are mild, with occasional cold streaks. There are an abundance of cultural events and festivals with a little bit of something for everyone. Whether you are an avid historian or sports fanatic, you will find it all in Central Louisiana.
