A well-established, boutique financial planning and investment management firm specializing in Christian entrepreneurs and multi-generational affluent families is looking for a Lead Strategist (i.e. experienced Certified Financial Planner, CFP). The Lead Strategist role is a financial advice preparing, client facing role, reporting directly to the Senior Strategist and Partner responsible for the case. Opinicus is a true comprehensive financial management firm touting Tax compliance, Portfolio management, Retirement plan design, Payroll, Accounting and Operations all under one umbrella. We serve a low volume of clients by catering to the robust needs of a niche clientele with financial complexities. The ideal candidate must possess the following nonnegotiable prerequisites: The CFP and/or CPA license with experience using the respective designation. A strong foundation in financial planning; retirement calculations, investment portfolio design, estate design, tax planning and investor psychology. Personality that functions well in a team environment centered on excellence and high performance. Additional experience with the following is a plus: Experience with business owners and/or business management. Ability to read and understand tax returns and financial statements. Compensation Package Compensation will start at a base salary of $110K to $125K (based on the ability to step into our business model and perform) plus a 30% cut of the assigned Sr. Strategist's transactional compensation (hourly consulting and insurance commissions). This role's compensation will phase into a pure 30% cut of the assigned Sr. Strategist's total compensation. The role also presents the opportunity to pivot into a Sr. Strategist position and potentially an equity partner. The candidate must have a go-getter attitude, deep financial planning foundational knowledge, analytic nature, an educator's demeanor, excellent communication (written + verbal), a polished business presence, the utmost character, and an entrepreneurial prowess. As a firm catering to families that hold their Christian faith front and center to their decision making, it also helps to possess the same faith and values. Company is run on Christian values and president outwardly prays with clients & employees who so desire. Participation is not required.
