We're looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Tonopah, NV, to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients' homes in accordance with a physician established care plan.
This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient's residence.  We are generally flexible with scheduling, but ultimately current scheduling needs for this position will be established between the CNA, patient, and case manager. We are flexible and willing to help work with your schedule! Schedule is currently 21 hours a week, built out at 3 hours a day however is best for your scheduling needs.

\n ResponsibilitiesWork with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting.Assist with the patients' activities of daily living as well as personal care.Provide companionship care and basic emotional or psychological support.Meal preparationLight housekeepingTransport and accompany patients to doctor or hospital visits.Adhere to the patient's established plan of care.Execute the physician prescribed plan of care and maintain compliant documentation of care provided in the system of record.Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) according to plan of care.Remind patient of and administer medication as prescribed. Maintain records and documentation of daily services.Communication with the patients' family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient.  Minimum QualificationsCurrent CPR certificationCurrent First Aid certificationTB test & physical examinationAbility to monitor vital signs.Good interpersonal skillsCaring and compassionate personalityHand-eye coordination and manual dexterityAbility to stand or walk for prolonged periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move patients.Ability to operate under stressful conditions and make quick decisions.  Preferred Qualifications1+ years of caregiving experience
