Job summary
Videojet Technologies is seeking a Chemist to join their Ink Development team in Wood Dale, IL.The Chemist will support ink manufacturing, maintenance of line, new product development, and ink field escalations.The position offers the opportunity to be part of a maintenance of line team that supports each other and grows together.
Job seniority: entry level
Responsibilities
• Support qualification of reformulation ink/new ink in Videojet's printer platforms• Maintain printers in good conditions with troubleshooting skills• Make solvent/water based inks• Organize, document, and update data regularly• Perform wet chemistry and calibration on viscometer, pH and resistivity meters
Requirements
• B.S. degree in chemistry/chemical engineering or related• At least one year of hands-on industrial experience such as printer testing and ink formulation
