Chief Estimator

G&E partners have partnered with a leading heavy civil GC in Alabama who are seeking a Chief Estimator to join their ranks. Responsibilities: Manage and lead the estimating department. Provide Guidance to staff and assess project performance. Create and track market share Utilise Heavy job and JDE to monitor daily, weekly cost reports. Review and approve all estimates on projects. Maintain and establish client relationships. Develop bidding strategies and processes. Ensure budget and schedule is met. Requirements: 10+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction sector. Experience estimating for Asphalt, paving and grading projects. Proficient in HCSS, Heavy bid, Heavy Job and JDE software. Previous management experience.
