Position Overview:
As part of the company's succession plan, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic executive to join our leadership team as the future Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This executive will play a pivotal role in the strategic financial management of our company, ensuring fiscal responsibility, driving growth initiatives, and maintaining financial stability.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives while managing risks effectively.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by the executive team and the board of directors.
Establish and maintain strong internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other key stakeholders.
Lead the finance and accounting team, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of excellence.
Collaborate with other department heads to optimize operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management for the senior care sector.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Proven track record of at least 10 years in financial leadership roles within the healthcare or senior living industry.
Strong understanding of financial principles, including GAAP, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective financial strategies.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
Must have in-depth experience with Excel and other financial software. Experience with Great Plains, Yardi and Paylocity a plus.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
