Strata-G is seeking an experienced Civil Field Engineer with the following:
Job Duties: Support the construction of a Mercury Treatment Facility. Perform constructability evaluations, scoping of work packages in coordination with field supervision, perform planning activities to include scoping walkdowns, Job Hazard Analysis walkdowns, and work package preparation. Provide technical field support to craft and construction supervision, including generation of Field Change Requests, Nonconformance Reports, and Requests for Information. Support Subcontractor implementation of field activities in coordination with Subcontractor Technical Representative manage the activities to support the installation of formwork, Assure procedural compliance, material control and complete and thorough documentation of inspections for completed work. Directs or performs preparation of quantity listings of field purchased material and equipment. Initiates requisitions for field purchases. Performs preparation of construction drawings and schedules. Performs design of temporary construction facilities and ensures preparation of as built drawings and other job plans. Assists subordinate field engineers and superintendents in interpreting design drawings, monitoring equipment installation, planning for delivery of construction materials and equipment, and assuring that proper warehousing and storage exists to ensure environmental protection. Reviews specifications, purchase orders, subcontracts, inspection reports, delivery schedules, instruction manuals and technical data to assist and advise on site. Coordinates with Design Engineering as needed to resolve field-related issues. 3P EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline or the sciences from a four -year accredited college or university
EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of experience required. FE (EIT) certificate preferred. Previous experience with civil field engineering is desired
4P ENGINEER III – LEVEL 4P EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline or the sciences from a four -year accredited college or university
EXPERIENCE: 4+ years of experience required. FE (EIT) certificate preferred. Previous experience with civil field engineering is desired
5P SR. ENGINEERI I – LEVEL 5P EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in an appropriate engineering discipline or the sciences from a four -year accredited college or university
EXPERIENCE: 7+ years of experience required. Professional Engineer License preferred. Previous experience with civil field engineering is desired.
