Salary: $325/day. Weekly pay. + Safety Bonus Job Summary
Pacific Channel Transportation is seeking a CDL-A Driver. This role involves the timely pickup, labeling, and delivery of shipments within a 200 mile radius of Kent, WA. This route has 3 stops and runs through Pasco, Union Gap and Yakima.  Duties and responsibilities
Ability to work NIGHTSHIFT Monday to Friday 4:30pm-2:00am Touch freight – must be able to load and unload heavy items up to 70 lbs. Home every night. MUST have minimum 2 years of CDL-A experience. MUST have experience driving in snow and over mountain passes. Doubles/Triples endorsement is preferred. Knowledge of DOT mountain pass regulations. Ability to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack. Exceptional customer contact and driving skills. Drivers will be required to interact with customers, warehouse leaders and associates, and store leader and associates. Drivers will also be expected to update orders via a handheld device. Drive a CDL Class A vehicle on local routes. Communicate delivery updates to customers. Any additional duties as assigned. Climb in and out of delivery cab to accommodate customer deliveries throughout the day. Qualifications
Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping and climbing. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Valid, active Class A Driver's License. Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Background. 2-years of CDL Class A Driving Experience. Must pass DOT physical, criminal check and drug screen. As a CDL Class A Driver, you must be a team player with excellent customer service skills and the commitment to succeed.
