The Client Relationship Manager will partner with Global Capital Markets Relationship Managers to conduct periodic Administrative Account Reviews for trust accounts.
Responsibilities include identifying and reviewing required account documents, ensuring proper setup and coding in the system of record, resolving exceptions, performing quality assurance monitoring, and escalating issues to management.
Here's what you'll do: Monitor administrative and operational systems, databases, and activities for accounts of simple to moderate complexity and risk to ensure compliance with established policies and guidelines.
Review, analyze, and provide feedback to counsel on the negotiation and drafting of operative documents and agreements for assigned accounts.
Coordinate risk monitoring and regulatory compliance activities for assigned accounts with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Audit as needed.
Research and resolve issues related to control and client service aspects of assigned accounts promptly to maintain customer satisfaction, collaborating with internal and external resources.
Work with external parties, including attorneys and financial advisors, to structure and close GCM transactions in a timely manner.
Complete various account administration tasks, including cash flow execution, fee billing, internal and external reporting, and tickler processing.
Participate in sales calls with GCM Sales to current and prospective clients, assisting in the preparation of fee proposals for new business opportunities.
Cultivate relationships with current and prospective clients and referral sources to uncover new business opportunities.
Implement approved fee increases, discounts, and waivers as identified, partnering with Fee Billing to monitor and collect aged receivables.
Provide coverage and support to other Relationship Managers within the assigned Section/Unit as needed.
Represent GCM at transaction closings, attend and lead client meetings, and prepare documentation to support client relationship management.
Participate in departmental projects and corporate initiatives as needed.
Supervise and/or mentor less experienced associates.
Understand and adhere to risk and regulatory standards, identifying issues for escalation to management.
Promote a diverse environment that reflects the brand.
Maintain internal control standards, including the timely implementation of audit points and regulatory issues.
