Clinical Operating Room Nurse Overview: Job Category: Acute - Nursing - Local Skills: Two years of the following experience is required: Scrub and circulating experience IV insertion and phlebotomy skill conscious sedation experience Education: RN License - required Primary Source Verification - required AHA BLS - required AHA ACLS - required IV Certification - required AORN - preferred Certifications & Licenses: IV Certification - RN License Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.
