What we are looking for:
Yazaki is looking for a Co-Op to join Connections Category team within Core Purchasing.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.
What you will be doing: Support buyers with data analytics and support to refresh and improve existing Excel based templates Support sub-assembly team to build improved categorization and tracking of cable/cable components to aid in cost engineering Support departmental tracking of cost savings ideas, tracking actual performance against forecast.
Support updates to the buyers related to performance against plan What you will bring to the table: Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution at the time of internship/co-op targeting Ability to work an average of 20 hours a week on-site Ability to work a minimum of two semesters Pursing a bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0 Ability to commit to a minimum of two semesters Effective analytical and problem-solving skills What we can provide you: A glimpse of your potential Hands-on, practical experience Direct exposure to and guidance from industry experts Opportunities to expand your professional network A supportive and secure environment for learning Competitive compensation
