Position Purpose MBA's current need is for a field inspector that can cover projects throughout our Mid-Atlantic service area. Our field inspectors are part of a team, and play an integral part in the successful completion of water tank painting and rehabilitation projects. This position requires extensive travel. Essential Functions Be on site anytime the painting contractor is on site working, including weekends. Read and understand project specs detailing work to be done, as well as construction drawings. Monitor atmospheric conditions and application conditions (blast quality, cleanliness, paint coverage) throughout the day. Record and document work performed on a daily basis, including taking photos. Maintain good communications with the Contractor, Customer, and Co-workers. Travel to job sites for an extended period of time. Work weekends. Qualifications High School Graduate. College or Military Experience is preferred. Reliable transportation to get to job sites, and valid driver's license. Basic computer skills required. Comfortable accessing and working at heights that exceed 100 feet. Ability to climb vertical ladders. Capable of bending, crouching, and standing for periods of time. Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs. Ability to access and work in confined spaces.
