Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of construction processes. This role requires a proactive individual capable of handling multiple projects and delivering accurate cost estimates to support our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to create comprehensive estimates.Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements.Conduct site visits and assessments to understand project scope and conditions.Identify and evaluate potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and industry standards.Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and contract negotiations.Provide support during the project execution phase to ensure cost control and adherence to budgets.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Commercial Construction Estimator, preferably in the Atlanta area.Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.Proficient in estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar.Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with company match.Paid time off and holidays.Professional development opportunities.How to Apply: Please email your resume to Joanmarie Bolding, ******** .
