Salary: $145,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Handle intricate commercial finance transactions, including acquisition financing, working capital facilities, and asset-based lending.Collaborate closely with a team of experienced attorneys to manage and execute complex legal strategies.Provide expert advice and representation to clients, ensuring their financial and legal interests are optimally represented.Participate actively in negotiation and documentation of financial transactions.Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases and transactions.Keep updated on legal, regulatory, and market developments that can impact clients.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely and accurate advice.Contribute to the firm's pro bono work and community service initiatives, reinforcing the commitment to social responsibility.Minimum Position Qualifications: JD from a well-regarded law school with a strong academic record.Must be admitted to the Bar in Massachusetts or willing to obtain admission promptly.At least one year of substantial experience in commercial finance law, including direct involvement in transactions mentioned.Proven capability to handle complex legal and financial transactions.Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills necessary for effective client and court interactions.Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm or equivalent is highly desirable.Experience representing both lenders and borrowers in financial transactions.Specific expertise in acquisition financing and asset-based lending is favored.Skills: Strong research, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.Skilled in the use of legal research platforms and legal technologies.Adept at drafting complex legal documents tailored to client needs.High level of professionalism and ethical conduct in all business dealings.Benefits: Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications.Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.Generous paid time off policy for personal and professional balance.Retirement planning and contributions.A collegial work environment that supports professional development and growth.Opportunities to participate in pro bono work and community initiatives, reflecting our commitment to social responsibility.
