The Compliance Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring that our organization adheres to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. This role involves evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our compliance programs and controls through systematic audits and reviews. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly. This position will be hybrid/local to work onsite the first 30 days for training, and then onsite Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday after that.
\n Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited toPerform comprehensive audits of various departments and processes to assess compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsDevelop and implement audit plans, including risk assessments and testing proceduresEvaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvementStay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the organization remains compliantAssess changes in regulations and update compliance programs accordinglyPrepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and recommendations for corrective actionsPresent audit results to senior management and relevant stakeholdersAssist in the development and updating of compliance policies and proceduresProvide guidance on best practices and regulatory requirementsEducate staff on compliance requirements and internal controlsOffer support and advice on compliance-related matters to various departmentsMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions taken in response to audit findingsRecommend enhancements to compliance programs and processes based on audit results and industry trendsMaintain accurate and detailed records of audit activities, findings, and follow-up actionsEnsure documentation is easily accessible and organized for future reference Required Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 2-4 years' experience in auditing, compliance, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred Skills and ExperienceCertification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similar Experience in healthcare regulatory or compliance environment Physical RequirementsRepetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingersSedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periodsVisual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
