Project Managers are responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects to ensure successful contract completion.
Project Manager Job Responsibilities Represents GSG at project meetingsObtains and ensures compliance with necessary regulations and permitsProvide project submittalsWrite traffic control plans, dewatering plans, project schedules, and similar related documentationSolicit and compare quotes for subcontracts and suppliesWork from 7:00AM to 5:00 M-FOrders project materials to maintain schedule and workflowManages multiple earthwork sitesCommunicates with clients and leadership to deliver monthly project progress reports and billingsDevelops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control planCollaborates with engineers, subcontractors, and other specialistsReview and approve or deny project related expensesQualifications and Skills Experience in a fast-paced environmentStrong construction and heavy equipment knowledgeCommunication ProficiencyOrganization and Planning SkillsProficient with Computers, Microsoft Office products, units billing, AIA billingAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and outside resourcesEducation and Experience Requirements 2 years of construction experience or equivalent experience or a related degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration or similar fieldPay Based on experience
