Job Description:
CST Brands is seeking a talented Content Writer to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from Chicago, Illinois. As an Associate-level Content Writer with a minimum of 3 years of experience, you will be responsible for creating high-quality written content for various platforms and audiences.
Responsibilities:- Research and write engaging and informative content for our website, blog, social media channels, email newsletters, and other marketing materials.- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a content strategy that aligns with our brand goals and target audience.- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform content creation.- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style guidelines.- Optimize content for SEO to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to our digital platforms.- Stay up-to-date on content marketing best practices and emerging trends to continuously improve the quality and performance of our content.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Content Writer with a portfolio of published work.- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.- Strong research abilities to gather and analyze information from various sources.- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.- Independent and dedicated personality traits are a must.- Prior experience working in a remote or digital environment is a plus.
