A Contract Administrator is responsible for the administration of contracts and agreements between Industrial Scientific and customers. This position resides within the Americas Revenue and Commercial Operations Team and the role of those on the Contract Administrator Team is to assist the commercial sales team with the closure of sales. The Contract Administrator works closely with our Legal Team and our Account Executives on the Commercial Sales Team to draft, negotiate and execute Equipment Subscription and Software as a Service Agreements as we continue to grow our business.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Managing and coordination of the iNet subscription Launch, Amendment and Renewal Contract process both individually and through the team of Contract Administrators to ensure timely servicing of customers and achieving revenue targets
•    Managing contracts with upsell potential and churn risk in collaboration with Sales and Customer Success to ensure customer retention and facilitate upsell
•    Providing support for new and existing customer base by providing information and/or performing activities relative to contract administration (review of quotations, negotiating commercial terms, providing some product information, contract creation from templates, contract order processing, contract opportunity follow-up, research of contract and order histories)
•    Executing, negotiation, providing support to sales in negotiations to drive contracts to closure and ensure successful execution of the iNet Agreement
•    Work in conjunction with project manager upon execution and through implementation of contract
•    Interface directly with customer counterparts to track deliverables, monitor contractual obligations, and prepare documentation
•    Assure accuracy and appropriateness of contract documentation and attachments; set-up new contracts; terminate expired contracts; and general maintenance of active contracts
•    Receive, review, and accurately enter customer data into internal systems
•    Drive an efficient and effective process to manage churn requests (stay on top of sales mitigation process, understand booking timing impact, ensure communication to finance)
•    Prepare and distribute information to appropriate employees regarding contract status
•    Ad hoc project work as needed
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
•    3+ years' experience working directly with customers in a Contract Administration position with revenue generation responsibilities
•    Demonstrated track record of successfully negotiating and implementing contracts with Fortune 500 companies.
•    Excellent user knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM systems (SalesForce,com preferred) and sales data; experience with CPQ, Oracle ERP systems and understanding of underlying documentation and financial processes related to orders and contract renewals.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Process thinking, attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
•    Goal orientation with problem-solving approach with strong conflict resolution skills.
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
•    Ability to work independently yet support team responsibilities on an on-going basis.
•    Demonstrated success working in a teaming environment both internally and externally
•    BS/BA in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
•    Gas detection experience (sales, customer service, or technical support)
•    Previous experience working with Leasing or Software as a Service agreements
