The Logistics Manager is responsible for the continuous development, implementation , and execution of strategies to improve the company logistics team. While also ensuring the logistics operations meet and exceed customer expectations & KPIs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Lead and manage the logistics team to achieve company targetsAct as the liaise with the relevant parties for the setting up of logistics infrastructure in any new global marketsDevelop and manage the logistics infrastructure, procedures, and systems in any new global marketsDesign, implement, and ensure compliance of SOPs for new projectsManage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainabilitySet up and refine daily logistics operations and proceduresKeep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiencySet up JAS's e-Commerce center and to extend the logistics business development to SPRC SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Implementation ManagerConduct performance evaluation for direct reportsRecommend hiring, firing and promotionIdentify and resolve personnel issuesOngoing coaching and mentoring of staff to develop skills to the highest level QUALIFICATIONS: Good analytical and program management skills; ability to define, develop and document business processes and proceduresStrong customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skillsInternal/external sales skillsExcellent organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal skills, including presentation skillsStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office suiteDetail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlinesSelf-motivated, able to work in a team and independently EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Degree in supply chain, logistics, or international business is preferredMust have 10+ years' experience working in 3PL warehouse environmentMust have 5+ years' at supervisory levelExperienced using labor management tools and reportsExperienced managing a primarily TEMP/Contract workforceFamiliar with logistics processStrong analytic skills are a plus ENVIRONMENT: 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. National and International travel will be (up to 5 %) required in support of the position's responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL: In compliance with Washington state law, we provide pay transparency for all job applicants. The salary range for this position is $85,000-95,000 annually, this is based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and the responsibilities of the role. The offered salary will fall within this range, depending on individual qualifications and market conditions. In addition to base pay, JAS Forwarding offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes benefits such as health insurance, 401K, discretionary bonuses, paid time off, paid sick time, and more.
