Numerica is a fast paced, high-tech company with deep expertise in cutting-edge information science. We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to work with our talented Contracts Management Team. The Contracts Administrator will play a pivotal role in helping Numerica manage its wide variety of government defense contracts and other business and administrative contracts. Working with an existing small contracts management team, your goal is to ensure not only successful contract management, but to also ensure that contract deliverables are delivered correctly and on time. Position Summary: This position will have exposure to a wide variety of contract activities. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will strengthen and develop your business knowledge and expertise by being a part of a fast-growing company that delivers technology solutions to government and industry customers. Preferred candidates will have a strong background in contract administration; preferred paralegal experience; a willingness to learn; be a team player and be able to adapt to the changing needs of a fast-paced small technology business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Prepare electronic files related to contracts, and all related documentsDevelop a deep understanding of contract documents, related action item due dates, and Numerica specific policies and proceduresEnsure contract deliverables are completed accurately, correctly, and delivered on time.Participate in kick-off meetings to communicate necessary contract requirements to Numerica's Technical Team through the setup of deliverable calendars, contract briefs, requirements, and other necessary and required information Manage the annual government property inventory, and maintain records of assets, locations, and disposalsAssist with contract related purchases, ensure purchases are in compliance with contract requirements and Numerica policies, and add contractor acquired property to the government property inventoryPrepare form documents customarily used in Numerica's business operationsAct as the point of contact with internal and external customers on contract administrative matters such as negotiations, closeouts, and government property audits or events Participate in agreement review, negotiation, and modification activitiesInput and maintain project information in the contract management and accounting systems. This includes, but is not limited to, setting up billing and project files, as well as labor categories, and work breakdown structuresParticipate in the closeout of contracts and provide information on the status of closeout as necessarySupport finance in external audits and reviews by preparing reports or other requested documentationMonitor Numerica's subcontracts by reviewing invoices, and ensuring their compliance with agreements and regulationsBe a team player on special projects as needed Functional and Technical Skills Required: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical abilities, with a high detail orientation and expectation for quality.
