Controller - Construction

Position Overview: We are looking for a Controller to join our team. The Controller will be responsible for managing the fiscal operations of our organization, including overseeing the accounting team, developing and implementing internal control policies and procedures, and performing analysis of financial and accounting data. The Controller will ensure compliance with various government regulations, ensure accuracy of financial reports, and provide reliable financial information.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the accounting team and coordinate the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements. Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal control policies and procedures. Perform financial statement and account analysis. Monitor cash flow and forecast cash needs. Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations. Provide reliable and timely financial information to senior management. Perform special projects and other duties as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 5+ years of experience in a similar role. SAP experience is required. Knowledge of construction industry accounting is preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP and governmental regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
