Our client in the industrial sector is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Process Control team supporting plant optimization efforts related to capacity, cost, quality, and environmental enhancements through process control techniques. The ideal candidate will have strong collaborative skills, troubleshooting skills in wiring and instrumentation, and experience in continuous improvement initiatives.

What's the Job?
Design and develop industrial control system solutions, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Human Machine Interface (HMI) programs to meet operational needs for construction, maintenance, and operational projects.
Ensure compliance with company cybersecurity initiatives by evaluating, configuring, and deploying secure solutions for Operational Technology (OT) devices.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for control equipment, such as alarm system metrics and control loop performance, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
Optimize and automate plant controls to enhance cost-effectiveness and production capacity.
Provide expert guidance and leadership to plant management, engineers, maintenance personnel, and contractors, including support for control system upgrades and troubleshooting.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering, with 3-5 years of experience in process control systems for industrial settings preferred.
Proven experience in leading teams, either directly or indirectly.
Strong understanding of ICS architecture, including operational reliability, redundancy, high availability, remote support, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
High integrity, thoroughness, creativity, flexibility, and strong collaborative skills are essential.
Familiarity with Delta V, Allen Bradley, and PI systems is advantageous.
