Qualifications MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.Proven work experience as a Senior Software Engineer.Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.Proficient in Ruby on Rails and experience with React and frontend development.Experience with PostgreSQL and a deep understanding of relational databases.Experience with creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.Familiarity with continuous integration.Operational Details Job location is based at Scion's Chicago corporate headquarters.Working hours consist of standard daytime business hours.
