Corporate Paralegal

You will support our Commercial Team by reviewing and processing various legal documents. You will work a hybrid schedule from one of our offices in either Ridgewood, NJ, Manhattan, NYC, or Santa Monica, CA. Key responsibilities will include:
Review, draft, and support negotiations of customer contracts, construction contracts, vendor agreements, purchase orders, and material supplier contracts.Ensure proper contract filing and data entry in accordance with contract management policies.Manage company resolutions, registrations, and filings as required.Support project acquisition processes, including work with internal and external stakeholders related to due diligence, closing checklists, and closing document sets.Manage signature sequencing and collection process across the business.Serve as a corporate point of contact within the Commercial team to field contract questions, review, and reporting of key contract details/issues.Manage the timely processing and resolution of contract disputes, claims, or other legal notices with the support of the legal team and others as needed.Assist with developing and redefining processes in the department.Various other activities as needed to support the business, including insurance support, compliance support, and misc. research and analysis.The Ideal Candidate:Minimum 2+ years' experience as a corporate paralegal supporting a team.2+ years' experience working within engineering, construction, or energy industries, including project financing.Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite, G-Suite, and DocuSign; CRM and contract management software experience a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong legal writing skills.Exceptional attention to detail and superior research skills.Strong organizational skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize appropriately, and deliver on time.Proactive, entrepreneurial, and interested in improving legal operations.This is a great opportunity to have a long-term impact on a fast-paced, private equity backed growth business.
