Willbrook Solutions is eagerly seeking a Counter-Countermeasures Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will support the Missile Defense Agency's Counter-Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate (SEM) Special Access Program (SAP)  RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:   Reviewing and commenting on achievable capabilities, assisting in the development of integrated master assessment plans, providing updates and integrated budgetary inputs across all technical projects Reviewing implementation and timing of the SAP projects across the MDA timeline Evaluating intelligence community inputs for threats posed to the Missile Defense System (MDS) to assist in the performance of risk assessments Support MDA System Engineering to coordinate capability improvements to the MDS  Assist, plan, and coordinate trade studies and analyses to quantify potential performance improvements and concept implementation  Support discrimination improvements consisting of potential MDS sensor, fire control, and kill vehicle initiatives to counter current and evolving threats   Plan and execute multi-disciplined projects involving prime contractors, other MDA offices, and FFRDC  Assist in review and selection of technology and or equipment white papers for unconventional technologies acquisition Building and providing inputs to Congressional requests Reviewing and submitting comments to MDS system documentation Responsible SETA SME for SAP projects reviewing and providing additional leadership with government oversight in the development of project, program, and strategic documents to include being the responsible SETA SME during technical meetings and interchanges Review of programmatic documents ensure applicability within the MDS Playing an integral part of the SEM Team ensuring strategic Program Management objectives and activities completed on time, within scope, ensuring customer goals are achievedREQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:   Active TS/SCI Qualified to be read into SAP programs MS with 12+ years' experience  Understanding and application of sound engineering and analysis principles Familiarity with complex missile defense systems and analysis Proficiency in written and verbal skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook) Ability to develop reports and presentations for senior-level MDA, OSD, and Congressional personnel Ability to work within a collaborative environment composed of Military, Government Civilian, Prime Contractor, and Supporting Contractor personnel PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:  Detailed knowledge of the Missile Defense System functionality and concept of operations, including interceptors, ground systems, sensors, and command, control, battle management and communications.  Familiarity with strategic threats and scenarios, natural and hostile environments and their effect on defense system performance, and advanced missile defense technology development.  Experience with DoD acquisition regulations and best practices for accomplishing systems engineering within the acquisition framework Familiarity with threat discrimination, counter-countermeasures, and countermeasure mitigation Experience with the DoD PPBE process and preparing products for fiscal year budgeting activities  Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate across the Counter-Countermeasures Discrimination Directorate, supporting MDA Stakeholders, and industry partners SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:   Active TS/SCI Required   The background check and drug screen will be required prior to any hire.  Special Aerospace Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
