Key Responsibilities:
Cash and Treasury Management: Oversee the company's cash management, treasury functions, and marketable securities investments, ensuring optimal liquidity and investment returns. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax-related reporting and filings in coordination with the accounting department. Payroll and Benefits Administration: Oversee human resource payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. Financial Analysis: Support the CFO in analyzing the performance of the real estate property portfolio, cash flow, and financing activities. Provide insights and recommendations to drive financial performance. Investment Support: Assist the President with evaluating and managing non-real estate investments, including those in technology and renewable energy sectors. Analyze potential investment opportunities and contribute to strategic decision-making. Collaboration: Work closely with the asset management and accounting teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness in managing financial operations and reporting.
Qualifications:
8+ years experience CPA or MBA a plus Experience in cash forecasting. Evaluating and reporting related to stock and bond investments. Understanding of partnership taxation. Experience with evaluating investment opportunities. Understanding of capital markets and interest rate environment on an investment portfolio. Significant financial analysis and modeling experience. Experience in commercial real estate. Strong Microsoft Excel skills Spanish is a plus.
