Crisis Program Manager, DS Northeast Kingdom Human Services has an opening for a Crisis Program Manager in their Developmental Services Department. The Crisis Program Manager will be the lead for the two bed crisis house providing short term support for consumers with Intellectual Disabilities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / SUMMARY The DS Crisis Program Manager will support and assist the individuals receiving IDDS services and their team to follow safety protocols and procedures for individuals who are accessing the NKHS crisis bed. These services will be provided in the NKHS crisis bed, community and or other environments. All services will be provided in a respectful manner and follow the Home and Community Based Rules, DD Act, and NKHS DS philosophy.
Supervisory Responsibilities 50% management duties and 50% shift coverageRESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE Hire and supervise Direct Support professionalsTrain DSP's to follow procedures and protocols set up for the crisis houseTrain DSP's to follow individual Behavioral Support plansCreate and implement a staff schedule to cover all shiftsCoordinate with agency team members for intake and discharge to the crisis houseWork with the Facilities manager to maintain the operation of the house (e.g., snow removal, repairs, trash removal, heating, water, etc.)QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor Degree and/or Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP) preferredExperience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities/or AutismSupervisory experience is a plusSALARY & BENEFITS Competitive Salary $48,360+ based on experienceHealth and dental insurance403b retirement plan with Agency contribution and matchGenerous paid time off, 12 sick days and 12 paid holidaysOutstanding employee wellness programExceptional benefits package including low-cost medical and dental, short-/long-term disability coverages, 403(b) retirement plan, life insurance, AFLAC, employee assistance program, and additional optional benefitsNKHS is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce.
