Global Furniture Group, a leader in the workplace, education, healthcare + hospitality furniture industry has an immediate career opportunity at our Atlanta, GA distribution center. This candidate will be responsible for learning and understanding the goals/objectives of the company/department. This candidate will also be responsible for exceeding client expectations and ensuring service levels are clearly understood. Duties and Responsibilities Answer all questions, calls and emails in a timely manner Product knowledge and understanding Knowledge and use of electronic catalog and AS400 programs Able to compose e-mail and fax communication in a clear and concise manner Handle all Customer Service inquiries from our dealers, sale reps, co-workers Check status of orders Check inventory Product information and pricing Process credits, return authorizations and back chargers (our plants/dealers) Changes or cancellations on orders Tracking shipments Follow and adhere to department/company guidelines Vet all purchase orders received from customer's to assure accuracy of product and pricing Other duties as assigned. Requirements Superior verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently. Strong attention to detail, ensuring purchase orders are placed in a timely manner and any questions regarding purchase orders are handled properly. Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities dynamically to meet deadlines and changing goals. Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or military equivalent.
