**Brief Description:** Position will support sales team in coordinating customer orders, scheduling outbound shipments, and providing excellent customer service among other duties.
**Job Duties & Responsibilities:**
* Secure freight and schedule outbound shipments.
* Act as daily point of contact for customer communication regarding orders, tolling accounts, and schedules
* Enter customer orders, pricing and freight rates into Microsoft Dynamics AX
* Communicate with carriers regarding freight rates and outbound scheduling
* Communicate internally with all departments to service customer better
* All other tasks as assigned.
**Requirements:**
* Work experience of 3+ years in office environment.
* Strong math and problem-solving skills.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Functions as a team player, supporting all aspects of operations as needed.
* Prior experience using Microsoft Suite including Outlook & Excel
* Strong understanding of sales department impact on overall organization
* Self-motivated with the ability to handle stress and stay engaged for long periods.
* Requires a high level of critical thinking and problem solving
* Independent judgement needed to anticipate potential problems, analyze data and trends, resolve problems, and recommend strategy on a continuing basis in an environment where conditions are continually changing.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of Microsoft AX, Power BI & Transportation Management System preferred
