Customer Service - Shift Supervisor

Oversee and train team members in delivering customer service excellence, cashiering & cash handling, and departmental upkeepDuties associated with both opening and closing the store, including but not limited to drawer reconciliation, safe accountability, cleaning, and delegating tasksEnsuring retail-readinessWork in a retail and food environmentEnsure a high level of customer-focused service for our shoppersMaintain a safe and productive environment for our employeesMay spend periods of time working in walk-in coolers and freezers Supervisory or managerial experience preferred, preferably in a grocery, food service, or retail environmentDemonstrated retail customer focused service experience and skillsFamiliarity with organic and natural foodsEnthusiasm for working in fast-paced creative environmentAttention to detail and ability to efficiently perform assigned tasksAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion during a shiftAbility to read and speak English and perform basic arithmetic This position requires excellent tenure and attendance, a committed schedule which may include opening, mid-shift, and closing, and requires weekend, and holiday shifts on a regular basis.
Starting Wage: $16.00/hr Negotiable based on experience and tenure This is a full-time position with a benefits package.
