Position DescriptionRequirements:• Forklift certification is preferred but not required. We can train.• Building Materials knowledge is preferred• Must be capable to write legibly and read accurately.Job Duties:• Ability to consistently lift in excess of 100 lbs.• Ability to consistently conduct basic math skills including long division and multiplication• Lift and stack dimensional lumber, plywood, and hardware.• Accurately differentiate brands, types, lengths, sizes, quantities, conditions, and grades of specific dimensional lumber, plywood, bag goods, and hardware.• Ability to consistently display superior social skills and diplomacy in a retail customer service environment.• Follow all written and unwritten company policies and procedures.• Perform routine housekeeping and maintenance of assigned work areas.• Comply with OSHA requirements and established company safety policies and procedures.• Accept and comply with all other duties as assigned or requested by management or supervisor.Physical requirements include but are not limited to:• Continuously stand, squat, hear, see, bend, stoop, grip, twist, climb, reach, walk, write, and kneel; push/pull up to 100 Lbs., and lift/carry up to 100 Lbs.• Work 8-10 hour shifts in an uncontrolled temperature environment up to 6 days per week, with frequent exposure to rain, sunshine, dust, pollen, and non-toxic airborne particulates.
