Leading Quality, Integrity, Valued Partner, Empathy, Innovation, Team-First POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for advancing enterprise-wide reporting capabilities to both internal and external partners, including but not limited to, data aggregators, drug manufacturers, payers, hubs, 3PL, clinical care teams, and executive management. The position focuses on developing and delivering automated, highly accurate and timely reporting to all business partners through electronic data exchange, reports, and dashboards. The role will work with various technology platforms warehousing patient enrollment, continuity of care, dispense, medical and pharmacy claim, prescriber, inventory, financial and other data. The Data Analyst must manage many simultaneous projects and work closely with functional owners to develop a deep understanding of business needs, build, and deliver reports and analyses to meet those needs.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & TRAINING Knowledge of designing, deploying and managing reports using Microsoft Reporting Services platform (SSRS), T-SQL, PowerBI, MS Excel, Snowflake, and other data processing/visualization toolsKnowledge of standards and best practices used in conjunction with developing reports and dashboards using SSRS/PowerBIData presentation and visualizationDemonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize critical projects in a fast-paced environmentProven analytical and problem-solving techniquesHighly self-motivated and directedPositive attitudeExperience working independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentExceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skillsPrior experience in the healthcare, pharmacy or pharmaceutical industries preferredKnowledge of HIPAA/HITECH regulations preferredExperience working with healthcare data, including medical and pharmacy claims preferredAdvanced T-SQL skills for stored procedure development, performance tuning, and troubleshootingMinimum 3 years of experience working with complex production reporting environment in both an analytics and development capacity preferredExperience working with complex multidimensional data models preferredESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Develop, validate, and maintain a full suite of reporting capabilities for internal and external clientsDevelop, build, and deliver requested reports, dashboards, and analysisMonitor performance metrics, including accuracy and timeliness of report deliveryManage multiple reporting/project requests and provide statusIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex data setsArticulate complex results through the development of graphical reportsWork closely and build rapport with internal clients across functional areasDevelop a deep understanding of operations to anticipate reporting needsContinually improve project delivery timelines, accuracy, and workflowsAdhere to Software Development Best Practices, Code Reviews, Root Cause Analysis, and IT policies and SOPsMeet or exceed development project schedules, tasks, and project completion time estimatesEnsure compliance with HIPAA/HITECH while executing the strategic initiatives of the organizationMaintain current knowledge to support changing technologiesEMPLOYEE BENEFITS BCBSL MedicalDelta DentalEyeMed Vision401kAccident & Critical IllnessLife InsurancePTO, Holiday Pay, and Floating HolidaysTuition Reimbursement
