What you'll do As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for enabling access, and effectively communicating data that will be used to drive key marketing decisions within SAP Concur.
Your responsibilities include:
Help to directly support the global SAP Concur Marketing team, a core pillar of SAP's cloud growth strategy, using industry-leading tools like: Tableau, Salesforce, Marketo, Adobe and Anaplan. Query and organize data into an intuitive final product. Define the biggest areas of opportunities and impress our global marketers. Explore the optimal method for data mining, data exploration, and data modeling for use within Tableau or other data visualization tools. Use creative problem-solving skills and a strong analytic mind to turn business needs into insights. Use excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate findings across various levels. Utilize expert database querying skills to develop and own data sources. Deliver key insights to the business. Resolve moderately complex production issues related to data integrity, availability, etc. Design, build and maintain reports (primarily in Tableau). Drive reporting or data related projects that can last months. Take complex technical concepts and explain to management in simple business terms. Scope business requirements and quickly grasp key business metrics. Identify business and technical impacts of user requirements and articulate to all involved parties. Lead training sessions on the value of data driven decisions and how to use the tools to get insights. Independently execute on a project, from ideation to delivery to stakeholders, and pro-actively interact with other marketers to access necessary resources or data. What you bring Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management & Analytics, or related field of study and 5 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 3 years of experience. Experience must involve 1 year in the following: SQL query development; Object-Oriented System Analysis; Data Warehousing; Web Development; Business Analytics; and Database Management. Must also involve experience with Hadoop - Big Data; Predictive Modeling & Analytics; Marketing Automation; and Business Intelligence. ?

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 101,300 - 210,100 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
