Our singular focus on insurance data analytics enables us to bring unparalleled expertise and value to our clients.   Who You'll Work With As part of our team, you will lead and develop industry-leading data analytics solutions for our clients – while working closely with business users and data owners.  About You You are a property and casualty insurance data modeler who has worked on source-to-target maps, SQL, and data modeling for property and casualty insurance companies. You enjoy working with business clients and with data engineers and analysts. You know many corners of the data analytics terrain and have core strengths in data architecture and SQL. You know how to collaborate with diverse personalities toward mutual success. You tackle new challenges proactively. Your flexibility enables you to adapt to different roles and wear many hats to get the job done. You bring a creative and innovative approach to solving problems, constantly thinking outside the box. As a team player, you enjoy working with others in a close-knit team environment. What You'll Do Data Analysis and Design: Work with business users and IT professionals to understand business needs and define data requirements. Perform data discovery on insurance datasets to identify relationships, patterns, anomalies, and value ranges. Collaborate with IT and business teams to develop data solutions that meet business requirements Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting thorough data validation and testing. Write SQL queries to retrieve, transform, and aggregate data from relational databases. Create source-to-target maps, including SQL and business rules. Client Engagement and Project Management: Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations to understand client objectives and challenges. Build strong relationships with client stakeholders by producing high-quality deliverables and exceptional client service. Communicate findings in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences. Manage deliverables and work from a project backlog. Continuous Learning and Professional Development: Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics, P&C insurance, and consulting. Develop expertise in insurance data analytics. Seek out and actively participate in internal and external training programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives by sharing insights, experiences, and industry research. Qualifications 3+ years property and casualty insurance experience 5+ years of SQL experience with the ability to write complex queries and optimize their performance 5+ years with progressive experience in data modeling 5+ years of data design and development Experience with Data Vault 2 framework Experience with data modeling tools Experience with the creation and validation of source-to-target mappings Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts Experience with data modeling concepts Experience working with Agile development methodologies 3+ years as a business data analyst in the P &C Insurance domain Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clients Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines Ability to understand and develop ETL pipelines is desirable Prior experience in management consulting is desirable Knowledge of ACORD P&C Insurance industry information models is desirable Familiarity with cloud platform Azure and Snowflake is desirable Benefits Competitive compensation package including base salary, incentive compensation, and equity.
